We are writing a book

After many years of classroom-based action research, challenging conversations, feedback from students, colleagues and teachers and a constant process of refining our theories and strategies we have decided to capture the journey and are writing a book on our philosophy which will be a 'how to' for everything S.O.L.E. 

We will include, easy to follow processes and lots of practical classroom processes, examples and recommendations that teachers and students can immediately implement in the classrooms.

Our philosophy of 'connecting emotions to learning' is the lens that we always use... and informs our thinking and our writing. 

We believe this book will help teachers implement classroom processes that create a positive and emotionally safe learning environment where students help to drive much of the learning process, and where teachers and students can both be active contributors to reducing some of the stress in the classroom.

The book delivers on student voice, choice and agency and nurtures critical and creative thinking which is based on focused conversation and the concept of collective success.
